I recommend ati icp, tank samples and rodi samples are both taken. I have seen zinc in rodi water and knew it was time to change filters and di resin. Zinc is one of the harder elements to remove by rodi systems.

It might be hw salt I am going through high zink and the only thing I have changed is going from instant ocean to HW

I was able to get my zinc down after tanking my refugium off line and doing more water changes. I think there could have been something on the led light that fell into the tank. It’s a guess but I’ve solved the problem luckily.

Any update on the stn issue after the treatment? How’s the tank doing and did coral recovered/sto the stn

@@uzersshifan2758 I’m doing a method using fauna Marin right now. The video will come out in a little over a week. It’s heavy with aminos and feeding. The entire tank shows better growth. However. The green slimer is looking rough again. This confirms my theory that the pathogenic bacteria is fueled by amino acids. Soo all corals look better accept one. That’s kinda how the story of reefing goes. You can’t make everything happy in a mixed reef. But I’m happy with the tank overall for sure. I’m thinking about taking amino acids offline in the future. There may be a benefit for distressed corals using amino acids. But if you got a healthy system I’m not sure aminos are gonna cause significant benefit.

Zinc and Manganese means you have something galvanised rusting and going into the tank.

That’s what I’m thinking too. It might have been from a rusted screw on my refugium light. I took it offline. I’ll submit a new test in a month or so and see what’s going on. Hopefully I solved the problem.
