Honestly I would just run AI Hydra 32HD’s. Hands down the best light I have used in 15 years. So much customization and ease of control. Going from T5’s to radions…. Jumping to Hydra 32’s was the best decision I’ve made in the hobby.

Reef bright strips would look killer, i keep chalice in about 80-120 par. They can go much higher with proper acclimation.

You changed the topic at 7:12 but I really want to know how you keep your sandbed so clean. The fighting conchs and ....? What were you going to say?

I’m going to be doing an episode on this soon, tons of people asked that. There’s a couple steps! Conches, sand sifting stars Diamond gobies , decent flow and I do have a long stir stick that I do fix the sand manually apart from vacuuming the sand every water change. I always say in reefing we are keeping sand and water!

U say 180 probably 140gallons with all Rock and 60-90 pounds of sand trust me it lowers how many gallons the tank holds. Plus. The manufacturer fills to the rim.
