The fact that it appeared to be easy to work in with all that space, makes me lean more towards this device vs mastertronic. BUT I saw that a new mastertronic is coming so will wait and see how that works. And the KH SPA. Though the SPA appears to be so tight which would make it hard to work in. Don't mind if it is a large device for the tank I plan to use it in.

I'd really like someone to focus more on consistency and reliability of test results. If it can't be relied upon, then what benefit does it offer?

I did some in the early days. Maybe next time I do an ICP I’ll do an upgraded comparison

@@ReefDudes Have you done much experimenting with the reagents to see which are most accurate? I would love for the be all end all to eventually be the ABC reagents for the ALK, Cal and Mag as they are the cheapest around and only require one vial each. Hady has been working on them but they are still in beta.

I just got my machine today . It is batch 5 which I don't believe have all the upgrades. However, before shipping, they sent out an email and to my interpretation... they prob upgrade my machine .... how can you tell if these parts are new upgrades or not. Mine came in without the led switch which I assume mine does not have those upgrades . But then I notice my reaction chamber is fully covered on the bottom like you pointed out in the video (is this part a new upgrade version then ?) Now I am so confused.

I've never had one accurate test from mine, so I guess I'll spend some more money to try and get it working. I'd replace the tubing, but $35 bucks for 12 feet is highway robbery imo.

You can always source the silicone tubing from generic sources

@@ReefDudes True, I was mainly pointing out that their prices are too high. $30 for 10 needles is ridiculous. Finding those someplace else without a medical license is a real pain. How close have your results been to manual testing of the same kits? Also, have you tested Alk against a Hanna checker? If so, did you ever get anywhere close to the same results?

​@@grimcarnage4309 Way back when i compared results to an ICP and they were reasonably close. within the error of margin of the test kit. Consistency and trends are the real value though.. most thing the number doesnt reallllly mater.. i care is it stable, going up or down ect. If yours are way off its prob due for some maintenance/calibration for good measure.
