Awesome video guys! I have a similar tank (similar dimensions) but I'm always struggling with the flow... and this tank has a really good flow, like a wave. Can you tell me what programs the vortechs and gyre have? (and intensities, times... all these things) It will help me A LOT! I'll apreciate it so much! Thx!!!

Hi David, I have 4x mp40 on the back wall running reefcrest at 80% max. Redsea gyre right under the overflow on random. The wave is from a tunze stream 3 at 50%. Hope that helps!

I saw (at 10:29) that one of his Apex power outlets is sideways. Has there been any issues with it being sideways (when Neptune advises against it)?

The one that is horizontal is very old. I have replaced the 5v power supply in it. The 24v supply also gave out recently. This all happened while it was in the vertical position. It is very old, so I just figured it was time.

@@KentuckyReef Shows a lack of experience/age to suggest ammonia dosing. This misguided dosing fad was killed off 30 years ago and its is not surprising it is being suggested by someone so young. A lack of nutrients is not the same as a lack of nutrition.....

@@DoYouEvenFishTankyou might want to do a little more research before comparing ammonia dosing 30yrs ago to what he’s talking about. I expect someone much older would know that when it comes to knowledge and ability age doesn’t always matter.
