'Alkφra' is a multimedia performance that integrates dance from aerial, terrestrial and aquatic spaces, against a backdrop of video art and musical landscapes specifically arranged for this production. It designs a choreographic universe defined by the golden number (φ) and sacred geometry, connecting dance to the logic of nature. The work resignifies the expression of mathematics and builds an educational tool through dance. Depending on the needs and preferences of the festival, Alkφra could be presented in full or in part, adapting the scenery to the available technical resources at Battery Dance Festival. The aerial fabric is the only indispensable, anchoring element in the work.
