Love the show but I have a suggestion. I think it would be awesome if you did some shore or kayak fishing since they are both very popular types of fishing. I think you could really take the show to the next level if you did some kayak fishing or something. Nice video!

Stripers historically spawned in the Ocala National Forest freshwater springs. The eggs would flow from the ocklawaha river to the St. John’s river. When the Rodman damn was built in the 60’s they doomed the reproduction of stripers.Striper eggs needs 60+ miles of flowing river to survive. They built a dam in the middle of that flow.Thats why stripers are now stocked in Florida.Remove the dam and restore the flow of the St. John’s and Florida will have viable numbers of stripers again. In Maine a dam recently gave way.A number of anadromous fish are spawning there already, in prestine spawning grounds they haven’t been able to visit for 200 years.

Thanks for the comment. How cool is that

CBM LIVE if the Rodman damn wasn’t built, you’d be catching stripers at sebastian inlet.

Great video...Of course I'm sure you guys would much rather be sitting in an office like I am instead of out fishing!

Apparently, there's quite a few "poor man's Tarpon". Excellent episode, I love ultralite and have wanted to run up there and do this for years. The horses must have put this trip over the top. Anyone know of a good shad area that can be fished on foot up there?

yes actually, idk about this one specifically but in Osteen florida lemonbluff road boatramp. there is a peninsula with cows right off of the same river I have gotten several pounds from that field growing up as a kid and if they are fresh you cannot be arrested for having them. you can however be arrested for trespassing on that field though so be careful.

Good way to get caught by an alligator, holding a baitfish right at the waterline. Instead of the tip of your finger it might be the tip of your arm.

I have a great snook and tarpon bite from shore in brevard county, if ur game look me up on facebook and we'll rip some lips.I just caught a over slot on a Pearl white gulp shrimp from a popping cork. usually catch them on d.o.a anything but I'd love to fish with ya even with out the camera would be fun, I'm a big fan... tight lines!!!

Shad are fish food where I come from, not something you go out to catch
