These comments make my day! Thank you Mike for supporting Real Black Independent Cinema. And thanks to your fans for saying there is a NEED for historical costume dramas about the late 19th Century that show all of the cool things Black Americans were building and creating. Peace, Writer/Dir. Nadine Patterson

*About time!!* Thanks to Ms. Patterson, her mom and Reelback. So delighted this is coming forth as a feature film especially for our children's sake. One thing I heard about L. Latimer is that so significant were his contributions in the U.S. that well-known and influential ppl in the U.K. invited him over to work on special industry projects they desperately needed help with, to lecture and share his knowledge. He was there for several years before returning to the states.

Thank GOD for this info. I am very interested in learning about the relatives of Lewis Latimer and I think that Blackpeople should make sure that his descendants are taken care of financially. And I'm very interested in learning more about this project/movie.
