sick video! :D 14:52 I haven't had my op-z for very long, so I'm no expert, but I think there's a way around this inability to use the FX flexibly: I believe you could resample the sound that's using the effect for sound design (into the 4th track 'sample', for example) so you have it as a one shot. then the FX channels would be freed up for song-wide effects

Thanks for this deep dive into the creative process, the OP-Z remains one of the most amazingly powerful and versatile music composing/assembling tools around. Great result, nice use of the samples to make an actual song.

Much appreciated!!! And totally agree about the OP-Z, in my opinion there's nothing else that does what it does with the same immediacy, especially for its size.

nice work mate! This sounds great. I can't believe you did it with stock sounds haha I gutted my op-z and put all my own samples on it except for the analog engine because I was having a hard time making anything I liked with the stock sounds. Great job!

Are you having that usual issue with the opz regarding the underside of the case bending.
@KaiBurley Жыл бұрын
Actually not really! I applied pressure in the opposite direction a few times over the last couple years in an attempt to prevent the bend, can't say for sure if it helped or not. I have had the double trigger issue on occasion though.

@@KaiBurley I really wish they could upgrade it with solutions to these VERY common complaints. You might consider buying these tiny rubber adhesives and stick them on to the underside, to help prevent the bending issue. Ps awesome video and I actually like the track. Cheers
