Back in the early 80's John & June had a concert at a nearby race track near my our housr. My mom & I went to see it for $5.00 each admission! I remember when they sang 'Jackson' June was kicking up her heel & her shoe flew off her foot across the stage! Good old Johnny retrieved it for her. They were awesome!!!

Loved and still love them both. Great husband and wife team both on and off the road. Great singing and song writing duet. There will never be anyone alive that can outdo Johnny and June. Yeah there's been others like porter and dolly, George and Tammy, Kenny and dolly, Bill Anderson and Jan Howard, and so many more but these two were topping the charts. Love them both even after their deaths. RIP Johnny and June now they're singing in Heaven with the angels
