What happened to this beautiful, pure music? I wish we would go back to this, just good singing, hand clapping, and simple instruments, and singers that don't scale the whole piano with every single verse.

Good singing? It's fantastic! The syncopation alone! Paul Foster is a marvel.

When people lost the anointing in the singing and playing even just the clapping they had to find something to replace that. As we see today where most gospel and churches are at there is no substitution for the real presence of God.

Woah, it's the whole show - thanks for uploading! Now all we need is to find at least ONE video of Sam with the group (None on KZbin as of this writing). There's got to be a film cannister in Chicago or LA buried down in some basement.

I've been looking for that for years
@npol0242 жыл бұрын
@@BlueUniverseChannel I spent a few hours in the Recorded Sound Research Center at the Library of Congress a few years ago, but had no such luck. They could very well have something, but a ton of their stuff is sitting in a bomb-proof facility in VA; items are poorly-labeled and only get digitized upon request, so, needle in a haystack. There are whispers of a guy in Chicago who has a trove of old Gospel videos, but refuses to digitize them for personal reasons. That seems like the best shot.
