@@clairpres2914 They probably thought that since they were home-schooled and probably wasn't allowed to hang out with other "normal" children they'd had his accent. They never had outside friends/interactions as kids like people in the real world obviously lol

I don't think it's the time-traveling aspect that's messed with 5's mind. I think it's the isolation. However long he was in the future he didn't have another person. So becoming attached to an inanimate object is not unheard-of. Think of Wilson from Castaway. As far as his aggression oh, he seemed a little bit more confrontational than the other siblings even at the age of 13. If he grew up completely isolated from anyone else his coping mechanisms and social interaction abilities would be stunted. At the least affected by what he happened to him. Then you add in the fact that his conscious mind is 58, and he's lived through this traumatic experience. Then you get this grumpy old man trope

Season 1 definitely starts out a little slow, but I promise the episodes just get better and better, and the finale 100% pays off. Season 2 is also way more action pact too & definitely worth watching!

I think eventually all the siblings grow on you to different degrees but Diego is definitely one that people don’t expect to love as much as they do but he’s always been one of my favorites. The story moves a little slow the first 4 episodes but it’s all character and world building so I think it works well when it’s not all filler but actually investing time into showing how all these personalities have to come together. One thing about this show though is it is a COPYRIGHT monster for a lot of channels, they use a lot of music.

ugh i love this show! i cant wait till it starts picking up. it’s definitely a show that gives you clues and then answers them later on so it sucks having to wait and see, but when it all comes together its such an ah ha moment. Even in later seasons, the story and plot gets so good and intricate!

I love, love, love the actor who plays Hazel, Cameron Britton. He did fantastic work in the show "Mindhunter," where he played Ed Kemper, a serial killer from the 60s. Watching interviews from the real Ed Kemper side-by-side with Cameron Britton doing the same interview in the show is spot on and eerie. I need to watch more of his work.

lol it’s actually realistic because that’s not how accents work. It’s also based on your social surroundings as they live in America. I have two Moroccan parents with strong accents that I was raised by. I do not have their accent.

It's a good theory, but it brings up the question of why Hargreaves would feel the need to do it. He wants them to be gifted, because he's obviously selfish, so he can control them. The only power I can think of being too great would be reality warping, and Allison had that in the comics, sort of. It just doesn't really make sense for him to do that.

Their abilities are slightly different in the show compared to the comics. In the comics, Allison could manipulate reality by lying, so any of her lies became reality. Klaus' powers in the comics are telepathy, telekinesis and he can communicate with the dead. Diego's power in the comics were that he could hold his breath forever, whereas in the show, he can change the trajectory of any moving thing.

One thing that's weird... when five ends up in the future, he calls out to his siblings. By their names. Like... did Grace, the mother, just not give five a name? XD That's a bit weird. It's kinda implied in the comics, that they all got their names after five disappeared. But in the show, it's just weird xD
