Not practically, they are, maybe the way the events are depictes are very exagerated but this events did happen, just it had to be hype for the movie, for example deku's look in the final battle of the next 2 movies pretty sure that is an exageration

Not exactly. Some characters and events are referenced from the movies but I think the only one that was fully mentioned in the manga and lead into was World Heroes Mission.

So, while it does not have significant impact until much later in the manga, Two Heroes is actually canon to the manga. All the movies are, even if they do play out like standalone adventures, a bit.

@@jasmine9581 Well, that episode is a filler episode, so it doesn't really count. But Horikoshi has made comments about it, and without giving too much away the Full Gauntlet and the Shields are referenced later on in the manga from this point.

Me, waiting for S7 to get animated ages from now so a certain scene in this movie can have the payoff it deserves. Otherwise, I was kinda meh with this movie. It was cool. But I felt like they could've just introduced most of the cast at once. Instead of being like, "Oh. Only All Might and Deku are going. But actually Bakugo is here. Oh and Todoroki. And Kirishima. Etc".
