As a German I always find it hilarious how they named the group "Das Sound Machine" which is obvs designed to sound German but does not use the actual German words except for the article and that article is not even the correct gender (Maschine is feminine so it would be "die" not "das"), I mean it's on purpose I'm sure but it's just funny to me how they managed to create the most ungerman germansounding thing possible xD

I watched in theaters (if I remember correctly) and I never liked DSM's performances. It's the exaggerated German accents in the singing and their whole aesthetic for me.

I think seeing the 2nd movie in theaters makes a big difference - there was just something really special about seeing the final performance on a big screen! When the lights went on and all the legacy Bellas came into the shot I remember a lot of people in the theater gasping. That experience alone made me love the song haha

I think it's cool that in the first movie, the Seniors began the performance and it ended with Beca, like they were passing the torch. They did the same in the second movie with the final performance starting with Beca and ending with Emily.

I realized on both finale performances, they added the "Make up" song for the couples. Like they added Becca and Jesse's "Don't You (Forget about me)" (the theme song on the movie they watched on their movie date). And Fat Amy and Bumpers "We Belong"

I think the third has the essence of the first one, but the plot does go crazy. That’s why I like it though, I love how random and ridiculous their humor is. Hopefully we get another aca-Reel Time moment in that reaction 👀😜

fun fact about Benji- aka Ben Platt- he won a Tony for Best Actor in a Musical- 'Dear Evan Hansen'. When he left the show, the actor who took over for his was Noah Galvin... the 2 became friends and started to date. They got married last year. Gay actors CAN play straight!

I haven't seen this movie since it was released, and at the time I remember thinking I liked it more than the first. Like Rob, though, I take it back (lol). The original is better. And by the way, Zuff, some people (myself included) use the word "weirdo" as a term of endearment, not an insult. We are all weird in our own way(s); it's partly what makes us unique. "The more you embrace the weird crazy things about you, the more you find your tribe."

"That a capella group that was on KZbin a few years ago" 🤣 Pentatonix are still on KZbin, y'all, with 20 million subscribers and over 5 billion views. 3 Grammys. Their 2021 Christmas tour was one of the top ten grossing in the world and they got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month. I'm impressed you recognized them, though 😅 I'm not positive, but I feel like the Obama footage was from them at an actual Kennedy Awards. I know he went to the Kennedy Awards honoring Tom Hanks around then... because Pentatonix performed and afterwards they were invited to perform at the White House.

Katey Sagal who plays Emily’s mother can actually sing. While watching Sons of Anarchy I found out she did some of the songs in SOA and she is really good you should check her out 😉 I think the first and second Pitch Perfect are the best. The third was okay but I think they could’ve done it better. Loved your reaction 😊

First movie is, in my opinion, by far the best one. Plot wise, song wise, humor wise etc. The 2nd one isn’t awful (I loved the Fat Amy & Bumper singing to each other bit), but I did not enjoy the Flashlight song & how you gonna have Katey Sagal in it & not use her more?! & the 3rd, handful of funny moments, some good songs (some of the mashups & also Toxic), but mostly fell flat for me. But the trilogy as a whole is entertaining enough & y’all’s reactions are always great ❤
