And also, in the end, Reese's just tastes so damn good that it's hard to stay mad at them. I shared this on my timeline and my one friend commented he'd gotten a batch that actually were shaped like trees. it's just annoying. let me put it this way: i work at my local Party City around Halloween, mainly the week before October, because i love the holiday and i like to work there. when i see Christmas stuff in wal-marts and targets before October even starts, that's when people have crossed the line! and i love the holiday, i do, but....it's just really, really annoying for me. just let me celebrate them one at a time.

Lol I remember trying to give my little niece a Reese's pb cup just so she could try it and she wasn't having it, she thought it looked ugly and wouldn't try one to save her life like she was scared of it lol. She finally took a little bite and her eyes lit up and yelled loudly how good it was over and over. She's grown now and completely obsessed with anything Reese's lol.

I think I agree with the financial theory. The cost of the necessary equipment/process to make the trees more tree-shaped would have forced them to charge the customers an even bigger price for that item in order to see a profit, which might have been more of a risk than they were willing to take, because it may have been more than most people were willing to pay for a Reese's candy item of that size.

You still eat it , digest it and excrete what nutrients your body doesn't absorb. what's it matter what the food looks like? Same deal with chefs and their whole eat with your eyes thing. Granted if food DOES look like something you DON'T want to eat you'd be reluctant to , but save for that, I just don't get it.
