3:37 I hate dealing with HD employees. At this point, I feel like I know the layout and where things are located in the store better than the average employee, so I try to avoid employees. If I do need help locating something, I just use the app, the same app the general employees have on their phones, to get an aisle and bay number of where an item is located. Even when the app is wrong and an item isn’t where it’s supposed to be, I make a genuine concerted effort to find it on my own before going to an employee, who will just pull out their phone, look up the item, then walk me back to the place I already looked, and go “huh, yeah. Weird, it says there are 15 in stock, but, yeah, they aren’t here…” One time, I went in looking for a specific IOT outlet. The app gave a location and said there were 10 in stock. Searched and search, couldn’t find it, and finally broke and asked an employee. He couldn’t find it either, so I told him “It’s not a big deal, I’ll order it for pick up online and pick it up later.” But, he flagged down a passing manager and explained the situation. The manager, with no hesitation, pulled out his phone and zeroed the inventory right in front of me, and said to me “they’re out of stock now, sorry.” Another time, similar situation, except I was looking for a metric tape measure. App said 45 in stock, but they weren’t on the shelf. Asked an employee, who made a good effort, but couldn’t locate them either, so I told him not to worry about it. On my way out the door, I just happened to spot a clear bucket full of them on the contractor checkout desk. So, in all likelihood, the 10 outlets were probably in the store, but the manager would rather F the store’s inventory than take the time find out where they went…

I work at Home Depot and I sometimes walk people to the item, sometimes I just tell them the exact aisle, bay, and shelf. Its not my fault you're fucking blind and can't see the product right in front of you. LOOK FOR IT. 95% of the people who come back to me a few minutes later will have stared right at it for 30 seconds and not seen it.

When I go to home depot I always find everything I need in isle 35, I even find my favorite potato chips in isle 35, and one time I shoplifted a whole sheet of plywood from isle 35 they make it easy cause they don't have a wet floor banana 😆😆
