REESE TOWPOWER BRAKE CONTROLLER for my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport Part 1

Hey fam, welcome back. In this video, you will see the unboxing and installation of the Reese Towpower Brake-Evn trailer brake controller. This piece came in handy for towing my car to shows and allows me not to wear out the brakes on my truck. Only issue with mounting it there is if you change the angle of your steering wheel it may drag the brakes or not give enough brakes based off the angle of the controller. It must be recalibrated every time you drive with different tilt.

That's a great point....I personally I'm the only one that drives while towing so there no adjustment needed to be made.

I did everything the same on a 04 dodge Dakota but didn’t work is there any fuse that I need to check? TIA

If you have everything hooked up properly, I don't see why it shouldn't work.

I wouldn't have it there cause that slide bar is basically your oh shit brake handle. You hit them brakes first when shit hits the fan dont hit truck brakes first. If you trying to slam your arm through your steering wheel in an accident your going to have a bad day.

When I had the 1500, that controller worked perfectly!!!! Now I have a 2500 with a built in system
