The difference between school supply shopping for high school vs university is so funny. I used to go shopping early every year and spend so much money getting pretty, matching, mostly unnecessary supplies while I was in school. I go back to uni tomorrow and I'm pretty sure I have a pen in the bottom of my backpack from last semester so i'm all good.

M. G. I can mostly agree with this. I'm going into my second year of university and I'm reusing most of my supplies from last year but I still need to get new notebooks, a planner, and like a package of black pens because I run out so quickly.

I agree with the not having to buy so many new school supplies when u have them already. This year we still had a lot of stuff left over from the last and I dont see anything wrong with that. Your probably one of the few people who understand that and dont go and waste $500 on school supplies your most likely not gonna use. You have a new sub, and Im glad you understand this.

The problem with modern/grayscale school supplies is that they won’t look good against a bright surface (locker, desk, etc.) I recommend sticking with the bright glittery supplies, they look better against a red locker or a wooden desk.

My grandma bought my school supplies because 1. I'm broke 2. I got good grades last year, (but it wasn't my best ) 3. I'm aiming for a 4.0 gpa this year, and she knows good school supplies motivate me to studying more and such. I have to get a few more items, and then I'll be done💖 my theme is green this year.

How would you compare the uni propus highlighters to mildliners? I had the set of mildliners but a lot of them died, so I was thinking of buying another pack but I might get the uni propus ones instead if they last longer!

the uni propus ones are more "highlighter-y" (aka bright) than the mildliners, which I find to be more like muted markers. the propus ones are still a lot less bright than your typical highlighter tho

i never use wide ruled notebooks/paper. A lot of my teachers want us to have wide ruled notebooks/paper but my hand writing is so small that I always get college ruled notebooks/paper. And last year I got in trouble for having college ruled instead of wide ruled.
