A good tip for people that are tight on money and need to buy textbooks is to actually wait until classes start! There are a lot of classes that say having the text book is required in the syllabus, but then teach you everything you need to know in class so you rarely end up touching it. Obviously textbooks are great as a reference but if you don't have the cash to spare, I say save it and wait to see if it is something you will actually use before spending and arm and a leg for it!!

Yessss 🤧 but calligraphy is actually simple if u take ur time to understand. Down strokes are thick, while upstrokes are thin. The only “difficult” part is understanding when and how much pressure to put on the utensil

I am starting my second year in college in September! I want to give you a small tip I learn the past year: I don't know if it applies to you, but I experienced last year that in some classes we did not use the (whole) textbook and in other classes more information was giving in other ways, for example during the first lesson my Anatomy teacher gave us an handout with the information we needed to study for the exam instead of using the book and during the lessons she explained that information. I've been watching a ton of your videos for the past couple of days, and let me just say, you are truly inspiring. I've never been a school person, I've always struggled with completing homework, I can never pay attention in class, and I have absolutely zero motivation by the end of the first month. You, however, are the complete opposite. It's insane to me how you can keep up with all of your schoolwork and still have motivation throughout the whole year. I want to be that way myself. I've ordered the whiteline notebooks and have gotten a few other items to help me rewrite my notes, and make them look at least a fourth as good as yours! I feel like doing this will actually motivate me to study with such beautiful, time-consuming notes, as well as keep me organized! I'm the least organized person on the planet, but that will hopefully change with your extremely helpful tips! Who knows, maybe instead of D's this year, I could get all A's :)

I think that maybe you should ask someone a grade above of you if you can use there textbook! I got my 7th grade Math Textbook from my good friend for free! Some might consider selling them for the grades below so I recommend to ask someone to reuse their textbook!

This is how kids in my school get their AP textbooks for the year. Upperclassmen sell them for half price (30/40$ sometimes cheaper if the student likes you) to underclassmen taking the course.

I am a messy girl, and I often had to deal with teachers being mad at me because I forgot their class material at home. A thing that really helped me is to just bring to school 2 notebooks: one with lines and one with squares. I take notes about every subject on them at school and then organize the papers once the test is over at home so that I have less weight in my backpack, and I don't forget things any more. A tip for the planner part: dont ve afraid to use a mixture of different types of planners. Last year I was just using a bullet journal and found that took too much time and stress out if my day. This year i will only be doing my bullet journal with by habit tracker, sleep tracker, plus other misc. Lists but will be doing by daily planning un a regular planner.

2:52 in Malaysia, we all get our textbooks at the end of the year. For example, if you're moving to Grade 7 next year, you're supposed to hand in your old books and get the new ones a year early. that will be quite useful for revision. and also, in malaysia, schooling is from january to november, with small breaks in the middle but not for three months. so every year we start from january and end in november.

I've seen some notebooks that have different sections for your different subjects! I've used a 3 subject notebook and it's a decent size, but depending on how many notes you take you might need another kind.

Or if you have a locker keep your notebooks in there. In between classes you can grab them for whichever classes you have next.

What I do is use a binder for all my classes. I have 2 sections for each subject, one for notes, and one for handouts, tests, etc. it’s so much more organized then notebooks because everything is in one place.
