@@sylvainfournier9999 did you not know that this channel doesn't allow anything negative about SA? Videos will be made about SA and "poor ref decisions" but only if they lose, never when they win. The reasoning for this is, that it takes a long time to make these videos. We understand how long these videos take to make but how does that interfere with making a negative video of SA when this channel will still do negative videos about refs for other nations and SA. So they have the time to do negative videos about refs and SA, if they lose, videos about refs and other nations but not about refs and SA when they win. Somehow this is logical for this channel

@@yasserwallaby5835 when you question the channel creator about why they don't so videos about the ref's for SA games when they win, the response is laughable. I was told the reason they aren't done is because of all the time it takes to make these analysis videos. Don't get me wrong, I understand that these videos take a lot of time and effort but surely it takes the same amount of effort to do a video about bad reffing, whether SA win or lose so their excuse makes Zero sense.

Your absolutely spot on here. Im Irish and i noticed all these incidents in real time. The Ref was very good, like a few in the WC but that bunker review crowd are awful. They can never seem to get things right. Ffs, they have all the anglesto see and still get it wrong. Time to get rid of that bunker review crowd, let ref, touch judges and Tmo discuss it like before. Another thing, would wr please bring in independent filming crew for every game. It happens in Ireland and France that they don't show all the angles of an incident. Don't get me started on the stadium directors in charge of the clips also.

As an Irish fan I's say Dante was be theatrical, if you've ever got a hand off to the windpipe you know it after and its usually legal. A bit akin to getting a kick in the balls but not as painful. Also with Henshaw, he is bent down somewhat wrapping his arms and Atonio's own player excelerates him into the contact. TMO probably felt it would only be a penalty and isn't supposed to call them back anymore unless their sure its a card. The only real wrong decision is Willemese not wrapping in the first clear out.

"Change in height is irrelevant"....umm okay, if you say so lol. That's subjective to say the least.
@tasanalytics
@tasanalytics 11 ай бұрын
Go read up on the laws. If a player is reckless and is doing something that is always illegal, in that case, using his shoulder and using no arms. Mitigation can't be applied. So no, it's not subjective, it's literally the law that says mitigation can't be applied if the tackler is doing something reckless and something that is always illegal. It's quite a simple law. So the drop in height, was irrelevant and shouldn't be applied. That's not my opinion, that is how the law is written.

Rugby has borrowed all this head injury protection stuff from NFL, yet has soccer style consequences. Why not 'eject' a player from the game but allow him to be replaced by a substitute? And fine players after the game for reckless acts that involve head/neck contact? So Willemse leaves the field after the first incident, is replaced by Woki, and fined afterwards? Instead of this complex and debateable 'head contact' process why not just have 'unnecessary roughness' and/or 'targeting' (where a player breaks the rules to try and hurt an opponent deliberately)? Why not draw a distinction between 'foul play' and 'violent play' instead of looking for mitigation in slo-mo replays? Players tend to know what's 'dirty' and what is accidental. The only head contact last weekend that led to a player being concussed was deemed to NOT be foul play. How are the rules keeping people safe?

It wasn't "upgraded to red card by the bunker system". Its the rules - two yellow cards makes it a red, like soccer.
@Bokfanlettucelip
@Bokfanlettucelip 11 ай бұрын
However they upgraded the incident to a red card offence. So even if he hadn't received a prior yellow it would be a red card and he would be off - not just in the bin.
@tasanalytics
@tasanalytics 11 ай бұрын
I think you misunderstood what I said. So yes the ref did give him 2 yellows which was the reason he got red cardes. But after the 2nd "yellow" the bunker still had to decide if that incident itself is a red card. It's for disciplinary reasons. And in that case the bunker upgraded that 2nd yellow to a red card. Meaning if he never received a yellow for the first incident. He wouldve gotten a red card as that 2nd incident was a red card in itself. Which is why I had an issue as I think you could make a better case that the first one should be red and the 2nd one a yellow. But regardless, the red card would still happen as both are at the very least, yellow cards. I'm just indicating how the bunker is inconsistent with how it applies mitigation.

1st incident is marginal if viewed in real time. We are all taught to hit with the shoulder when we wrap our arm. Perhaps that need to change but in this case you could see Willemse's arm was going up but deterred (delayed) by the other French player. Thus I disagree about being clear red, very marginal yellow according to what rugby SHOULD be. Duante's behavior is a shame but all teams/players are starting to do some showmanship to draw attention. I wish there was an allowance where refs could offer the yellow to the captain and they can decline it if they know it wasn't malicious.
@tasanalytics
@tasanalytics 11 ай бұрын
Look if it was up to me, I would also say it shouldn't be a yellow card. But I'm making the video based on how World Rugby has dealt with head contact. Which I've said countless times, is ruining our sport. As for the showmanship, I totally agree. More teams are doing it. I remember a while back Cheslin Kolbe also did it, and he got massive backlash from SA fans for doing it. The same way Nic White got Backlash when he did it against SA with that infamous Faf de Klerk Slap on his moustache. I think it's up to us as fans, to hold our players accountable when they do stuff like that. It's certainly not only France that's doing it. It's a think that's happening more and more across the world and it needs to stop before it gets like soccer

That was from something else, and long after the Aki thing. And this is not a once off thing with Danty, he did the exact same thing against SA in the World Cup when he got cleaned out by an SA player that tripped. Where he acted like his head got taken off, yet he managed to play the whole game with no issue.
@thomasorif3653

@@tasanalyticscan you give me any reasonable explanation why Danty should make the slighest effort to cover up a fuck-up that is not his and, most importantly, one from the opposing team? If the opposing team fauls me, I dont see why I should make them the favour of powering through an injury, however light or momentary. They caused it and if I lift even a finger to hide it, I would be going against my own team's interests.
@tasanalytics
@tasanalytics 11 ай бұрын
Because if every single player does whag Danty did and cry and act dead if they feel the slightest touch to anything above their shoulder. Then you're going to get soccer. Where players dive by simply getting touched. Or even worse, pretend to be injured to get another player sent off. I can't believe you're even willing to debate that. It would ruin rugby because it's not in the spirit of the game to that. Do you know how many head contact situations happens during a single game? Watch any ruck. Imagine every single player acts out if they get touched on the head by an arm. It would look ridiculous. Rugby is a physical game. If players can't handle that part of that, they shouldn't play it.
