He was a great man, but no-one took him seriously at the time , NOW, it has become even clearer to what the EU is all about. I still have the video he made at the time , and he did his best to make sure everyone in the country received it free of charge, but the media, even then, were against him and tried to discourage the country from taking what he was trying to communicate . Now many years later, people are beginning to understand the threat he was warning everyone about. Unfortunatly there are still a lot of people too thick to realise even now what the EU is capable of doing to ruin our lives. Vote OUT, to leave this nest of snakes, known as the European Union. ,Best wishes to everybody.

Sir James Goldsmith, R.I.P a great man and something of a maverick, even though he was a goldsmith he never acted like one although he was a business man and billionaire by 1987 he went from boom to bust and then back too boom again, personally I shared his political beliefs and still do, good riddance to the EU, the government and the rest of the political elite are in turmoil and they think the majority of the country who voted brexit were fools and didn't know what they were voting for, well look who the fools are now, I also praise people like Godfrey Bloom, Nigel Farage and Professor Patrick Mitford as well as Jacob reeve.

Too bad he was using the nationalist arguments. He's using a more rational approach and fair arguments in the great prophetic interview on Charlie Rose 1994. Nationalism and economy is selfishness. Oposing the economic globalisation from the humanistic point of view vs the big economic interests as he did at Charlie Rose November 1994 is light on the dark for humanity.
