Refilling a Brother TN-350 Toner Cartridge

A commendable video, David! For what it's worth, I've had some luck modestly extending the life of a cartridge by applying a vibrating massager to it, and then shaking the cartridge back and forth horizontally. The idea is break up any clumps, and distribute the powder evenly.

Thanks. I did shake the cartridge many times; but eventually it ran out. However, I never tried a massager; I can see where that would work well! FYI, the refill didn't last very long at all. The powder got all sticky and screwed up the drum unit. I replaced both the toner cartridge and drum unit with new aftermarket ones purchased together from a different supplier (I don't remember who right now) and they worked fine.

I wonder if the toner cartridge was gently shaken after filling to even the toner out withing the cartridge? Maybe that would help with the first few test pages?

I gave it a little shake first. I think the toner has a little different composition since it smells a little different than the OEM cartridge while printing. The instructions recommend running several pages; I think the artifacts were due to change out to the different chemical composition of the inkOwl toner.
