Refilling a major brand soap bottle

I just did this on my Purell one at work. I broke the plastic guard with a key, took it off, screwed the lid of, refilled a bit and then put it all back together again. It's working great and no leaks. I was unsure if the stuff we have in our spray bottles would actually work during the pandemic but it foams up the same! I was afraid the janitors would throw the container away since it was empty, not anymore. Thanks for the idea!

You guys are so advance of me, just investing 5 purell Tfx dispensers and the refills are so expensive but because of the brand name of Purell. I kind of sticking with it for while yet! Because, I wanted to impress my customers (1.2 ml per shot = 1000) yielded 800 customers not bad at all. Will keep it in mind. Thanks for life time.

Yo, you can also just get a silicone or plastic cap and cut a hole in the bottom of the bottle. Then you could refill it without even removing it from the dispenser.

I just refilled mine with 8:1 Dawn Ultra. 8 parts water, one part dishwashing liquid. Foams beautifully.

Thanks buddy, I was going to attempt this today, so glad to find someone else already figured it out. Its pretty pathetic, 1200 ml of 70% alcohol for $35 each. Thats less than a dollar of alcohol with a fancy plastic bottle that probably costs them another .60 cents from China.

Perfect. Works for 5456 as well. I used channel locks. Thanks. Refilled with CVS sanitizer at about 1/4 the cost.

I just brought a GoJo foaming hands soap dispenser for my wife but I didn't realize you couldn't refill the bottle yourself, and they're ridiculously overpriced seeing how foaming soap is about 75% water. So I was thinking if you cut a hole in the bottom of the bottle and got a silicone or plastic cap for it then you'd be able to refill it easily without even having to take it out of the dispenser.

yes! I just did it today on a TFX Purell 1200ml bottle. Way better to refill container myself at $25/gallon of hand sanitizer or around $8/refill than paying $50-70 per 1200ml refill right now on Amazon or Ebay
