I love that he was honest about his Smidge of jealousy. A lot of people can turn that into resentment instead of being honest about a real emotion. My partner and I have talks like this and I rarely see couples that do the same on social media. Very refreshing

I’m very thankful for Josh and Isi because they taught me the true importance of communication in both romantic and platonic relationships. I used to normalize biting my tongue and holding things back in order to avoid stepping on people’s toes, but (contrary to my old beliefs) that’s toxic. When you let things slide you’re doing yourself a disservice, as well as your partner because you’re secretly building resentment towards them for something that could’ve been corrected if you just simply communicated how you felt. I’m 19, and I haven’t experienced romantic relationships yet, but I’m glad that I have insight on what a healthy relationship consists of for when I do start dating. I love them!!! remind me of what God did for me,he sent me a man that was in front of my face for 4 years before I knew he would be my husband. Being freinds first is a must for it to last. And I had to let go of the age barrier to see him and not what everyone else sees. The person you're supposed to marry will always be what you need and almost never what your standards are. Being a independent black woman can have you on a pedestal but you have to humble yourself and see what God wants you to see and what is truly best for you.
