From the male perspective, the secret is simple, but extremely difficult: Be buff, be attractive, and shut the hell up. Every issue I’ve ever had with a lady has been a result of not thinking before I speak, being too honest and not being attractive enough. The guys who have long term relationships aren’t the ones who know what to say, they’re the ones who know what not to say. Nobody wants the truth. They want their fantasy person, male or female. You just have to figure out how to be that, and shut up the rest of the way. The moment you stop being the man of her dreams, forget about it. Revealing too much of your inner thoughts to a lady is suicide for a relationship. I’m disabled and overweight, so I know it’s never going to happen for me, so I don’t care. I can say the things no man would dare to say and it’s about the only enjoyment I’ll ever get. There’s a freedom in it.

I'm sorry you're going through a tough time with relationships and women. Respectfully, I have to say I disagree. You just haven't found the right woman who's emotionally mature and willing to work on herself as much as she's willing to work on the relationship. I'm in a long-term relationship and my boyfriend has been incredibly honest with me from the beginning, and vice versa. There are times when it hurts of course, but I'd rather have a relationship based on vulnerability, honesty, and openness than something fake and superficial where both parties have to "shut up" or not honor and express their truth. Part of being in an authentic kind of love is holding space for someone else's thoughts, feelings, and opinions that might not look like "keeping the peace" - but if you're not able to express yourself authentically, that person ain't the one for you :) I hope you don't generalize all women based on past women you've been involved with, and I wish you all the best in finding your person!
