I put it on old wood I make shit out of and I just like what it does but for what you are doing I don't know... also denatured alchol is good for cleaning wood - I am sure the dude above knows more, I am an amateur.

excellent! my dad is 77 and still has his first guitar he bought in San Francisco - a 62 fender Stratocaster. I've seen him refinish the entire guitar twice. he takes the whole thing apart. everything off. he has kept it in amazing condition. one of my first memories was feeling the "fur" inside the case, I loved the way that guitar case smelled. he was in his first band at 16 and at 77, he is now in 2 bands! thank you for posting this vid, you brought back some happy childhood memories for me! you got me with the Star wars thing! I have loved your guitar style the instant I heard it years ago...have you ever considered doing a short album of just instrumentals? just mental meanderings letting the strings sing? all the best to you & yours! 🌸❤️🎶🙏🎶❤️🌸 put a light coat of Vaseline or grease on the threads of the container and you won't have such a hard time with the cap anymore.

Nice job. To help strip the initial lacquer or paint off you can use a razor blade 90 degrees to the surface in a scraping motion. It makes it a little quicker and cleaner as long as you remember you’re trying to remove the coating and not actual wood. It also helps to cut down on sanding as well!

Holy shit! I just commented on a video I had not seen yet this: "I saw Stevie Ray FIVE times so I know the shit when I see the shit and you are the shit! Rock on!" I had an SG Jr cuz I'm a chick and lazy (not like stevie with his action and gage) but had to sell it but I got a 1965 Gibson B25 that has needed work for years. I knew somebody who knew Stevie's dude and refused to let anyone work on it cuz I had it in my heart I wouldn't hand my baby over to anybody else. That day has passed but if I ever run into you and I probably will, I'm gonna ask you to look at it. Thank for all the inspiration man!
