Reflecting on the Genocide in Rwanda 30 Years Later

The genocide began on April 7, 1994, the day after the presidents of Rwanda and Burundi were killed when their plane was shot down over Kigali, Rwanda’s capital. Most of the victims were Tutsi, killed by the majority Hutus. An estimated 1 million people were killed over several months in the genocide and the civil war that coincided with it.

Ya, Rwanda is a lesson for all others. Unfortunately, as you said the prior genocide is the reason for a new future genocide. Unfortunately In Ethiopia currently there is silent genocide on the "Amhara" people which in my opinion will be a reason for the the near future widespread genocide among different ethnic groups of Ethiopia. Therefore developed and democratic countries like the US shall put their maximum effort into stopping the upcoming worst in Ethiopia.
