Yo, that was amazing!! Showing Camilo's identity crisis and then also mental issues was fantastic! You definitely captured Camilo with that wonderful art. It would be super cool if you got someone to voice the characters too. Love it!!!

Can we just appreciate how realistic and dinamic all the movements are and how good the replicas are? The video is "sketchy" yet it perfectly reflets the idea, character's words aren't contradict with their personality (I think). Also, I like the style✨️💕 Also, I wish that once became a beginning of one of Encanto Show series. -not telling you there's gonna be one, just thinking it would be great-

For me in Camilo's room there would be a very big mirror almost in the middle of the room and that no matter how much he changed into other people, it would always show him his true appearance so that he would never forget who he really is!

I actually think this would fit in outside the movie, like an animated series; because of the flashback it wouldn't make sense to have it right after rebuilding Casita BUT~ if it was just another nightmare I can see it! Maybe this happens after the night the cracks grow...it would be interesting to parallel Luisa's paranoia with Camilo's.

That was amazing. Nobody is perfect. You can pretend to be good at "Everything", but everybody has problems in their lives. When you are young, you are discovering the kind of person you want to be, and it seems hard to think that Camilo can be literally everybody and nobody at the same time. Great comic. I don't normally like these sort of videos because people portray Camilo wrong a lot. But this was great! You captured his fun loving spirit, sarcasm, and all around... Camiloness, while adding in some of the things he might go through with having a gist such as his. You didn't make it mushy, but you did make it something that I think all of us can kind of relate to. By the way I love the line, "And eat all the arepas as you want."

Damn I clicked on this not expecting anything else other than a short and sweet fan made animatic but I fr got chills from how the video has no sort of simple resolution where Camilo just walks out of his room and has a happy breakfast with family, instead it just abruptly ends seeing Camilo put on another act after just seeing him not even remember his own face and have a nightmare about not being able to change to other people slowly losing sanity, which leaves the audience wondering what goes on in the mind of someone with a gift like that. Anyway props to the person who made this cause Disney better put them on for the next encanto project

I love this so much, I love how it builds on the room full of mirrors idea and also gives Camilo's room an expansive theatre too! And then on top of that the entire sequence just shows so much character, incredible art and directing!

Camilo’s room having a bunch of mirrors and including a stage would make sense actually not only does it go with the faint ego/narcissistic part Camilo kind of has but it would also help with his powers of shapeshifting to help him check for mistakes and kind of feed into his identity crisis This is really cool! I hope if they ever make a series or sequel they explore Dolores’ hearing overload and Camilo’s possible identity crisis more

This is actually *exactly* what I'm imaging for canon storyline for Camilo, whether it be in an Encanto short film or perhaps a TV series. Either way, this perfectly demonstrates my thoughts on Camilo's fears and insecurities, and how he practices his shape-shifting each morning like he's acting in a play (I definitely imagine him saying "Show time.") Plus, his room seems spot on as well. I really hope they do something like this in canon or perhaps use your animatic and give you credit for it. I actually had a similar idea for his room, feelings and struggling powers in a fanfiction story. Everything down to his denial and smashing a mirror of his reflection. Edit: Ooh, I didn't realise that when he looks at his little brother, Antonio, he sees a younger version of himself. That’s leaves a lot of questions as to why, but obviously he loves his hermanito (little brother) and possibly sees a bit of his younger self in him.

I think a lot of us see the potential for Camilo's struggles, and I think it's cool that it's a fandom-wide theory/headcanon! The moment with Antonio/little Camilo might be a subtle thing, but I wrote that he sees himself in his brother, new to a life of magic abilities and feeling uncertain. In a way, Antonio is another mirror to Camilo! Reflections everywhere.
