@Elio no malicious intent, and i FREAKING LOVE mulan ♡♡ ; but the other princesses had real issues too. snow white had to live in a forest because she was in danger of being killed JUST because she was "pretty". cinderella had to constantly deal with abuse and only wanted to go to the ball as a little escape from her horrible life and that chance was ruined for her too (props to her for staying kind and sincere despite it), belle was considered an outcast by her entire society just because she read books. aurora's problems are a bit more fantastical, but like a curse is.. something LMAO they had real issues, the love interests were just another part of their story. idk if i articulated my point well. have a nice day!

you guys obviously seem to be misinformed, the new mulan movie isn't based off of the disney version but instead the actual fable / legend of mulan. in the fable, mulan became the general. in china, old witches are more realistic than talking dragons and random musical elements. you want to see unrealistic romance, a talking dragon and musical points? watch the animation, nobody's stopping you, but stop whining and hating on a movie that is going to be culturally accurate and very stunning.

When I was a little girl I kinda disliked Mulan because she didn't have that magical and romantic life that the other princesses that used to be back then had. Now that I'm 17 years old she's the only Disney princess that I can relate to especially in this song... One of Mulan's gaurdians: "Your reflection will show who you are inside when you find the warrior dragon in you🐉" Near the end when she's fighting the villain, she sees her reflection in her sword, and there is when she finally sees who she is inside 🙏 Hearing this version of her song gives me chills and made my eyes water because it suits the scene so well. We are so used to hearing disney songs from the main character's perspective, so it's pretty interesting being able to hear from someone else's perspective. I'm thankful to hear this 😊

@@annieisnotokie nah, this one was t based on the cartoon it was based on the ballad. Since Disney is all about changing and tweaking the original stories this is a tweaked version of the balled. You had action you saw how Mulan transformed from using her chi in childish ways to taking it to the war. Action scenes were amazing I prefer a scene with a orchestral version of the song playing while the character reach their climax rather than singing. This movie had an amazing story and beautiful to the eye. I liked it why didn’t you? (With all respect)
