I have watched the lecture ...I searched a lot on you tube for this type of explanation but no one give this type .....excellent for u ....rest all are copying the standard books and ur way of explanation is by thinking ...again excellent... Thanku for this type of explanation I hope u will post magnetostatics also..

Thank you my man, you just helped me pass my exam. Only thing i didn't knew when my professor asked me is what happens with the phase before and after Brewster angle, he asked questions like what is the reflection coef. telling me, if it's negative, or when it's positive. But he gave me some clues and i managed to figure it out "on the go". Thank you again for your lesson, it helped me a lot.

Amazing lecture! Congratulations. Only one question, could you tell me what books do you use?, I have searched in many sites, and i don't find a development like yours. Thank you and congratulations!!

Hi sir , while writing magnitudes of propagation vector , you have written only magnitudes of x and z components .what happend to magnitude of y component ? can u pls explain?
@KishoreKashyap6 жыл бұрын
Wave is propagating in XZ plane or XZ plane is the plane of propagation hence the propagation vector has just two components X and Z and its Y component is zero.

Sir in perpendicular polarisation Er direction should be in -y direction right? When the wave gets reflected its orientation changes. Why did you consider +y again?
@KishoreKashyap6 жыл бұрын
you can take Er in -Y direction, accordingly the direction of Hr will change, it will be downwards. Now you can derive all the expressions for reflection coefficient and transmission coefficient, at the end you will get same expression.

I am getting same magnitude but with a negative sign
