This one really hurt my hand... so there some, er, touch-ups on the guitar line...

I adore Maynard, but gosh darnit I love hearing your amazing voice and these stripped down versions. I'm actually able to appreciate the actual lyrics because I can understand them! Oftentimes I can't do that with the original studio versions. Too much instrumentation on the albums maybe? My ears get distracted😂

That’s funny, while I’ve been doing these Tool covers I’ve learned a lot of new lyrics I had no idea about…

Dude your Tool covers are just on another level! You reduce them to their core very creatively and on an acoustic!!! Genius! Please keep pursuing your passion. Sooner or later it's gonna happen. 🤘🤘🤘 Cheers

Thanks mate, much appreciated! I’ll run out of Tool songs eventually, they need to put out another album!
@tycarnine38554 ай бұрын
As an old school Tool listener, I did feel like the new album was like lateralus b sides. Instead of a progressive direction like their previous works. I enjoyed your original works more than the new tool album. Just sayin.

@@peterspiker9960 Well, there's still A Perfect Circle and perhaps also Puscifer. Your cover of Orestes was also perfect, so I guess there's a lot left. We can't count on Tool for a new album :)) Besides, if you can cover Tool this good, I'm sure other artists' songs would be great as well. AND there's always making tutorials for your most popular covers! That usually brings even more audiences. Dude your covers are getting more and more noticed in the Tool community, because they are very good. So definitely a tutorial is going to be well appreciated. I know that I would definitely love to see one. Cheers

I have come curiously close to the end though Beneath my self-indulgent pitiful hole Defeated I concede and move closer I may find comfort here I may find peace within the emptiness How pitiful It's calling me (calling me) It's calling me (calling me) It's calling me (calling me) It's calling me And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping The Moon tells me a secret, a confidant As full and bright as I am This light is not my own and A million light reflections pass over me The source is bright and endless She resuscitates the hopeless Without her, we are lifeless satellites drifting And as I pull my head out, I am without one doubt Don't want to be down here soothing my narcissism, I Must crucify the ego before it's far too late I pray the light lifts me out Before I pine away (pine away) Before I pine away (pine away) Before I pine away (pine away) Before I pine away So crucify the ego, before it's far too late And leave behind this place so negative and blind and cynical And you will come to find that we are all one mind Capable of all that's imagined and all conceivable So let the light touch you so that the words spill through And let the past break through, bringing out our hope and reason Before we pine away (pine away) Before we pine away (pine away) Before we pine away (pine away) Before we pine away

Hey, outstanding job! Is it possible that we'll ever hear Rosetta Stoned performed by you? Just asking :)
@peterspiker99605 ай бұрын
Rosetta Stoned is so frustrating because I have it completely down and love to play it by myself BUT! I don’t know how to get around Maynard’s unusual vocals at the start of the song. If I ever come up with a solution I’ll definitely cover it 🤘
