This song is a MASTERPIECE. Pne of the best songs made. In 1968, when released, I liked it alot. Now in my late 60s I love it even more. Because most of my life has been lived, and I can reflect on my life, therefore, the song means even more to me. I am not sick or anything but when you are in your late 60s it is just a fact. Another thing, is this song is as relevant today, as it was when written. You did a fantastic job singing this song, as I feel your passion through your voice. I have written the sound engineer who re-recorded this with Dean Ford, singing this song. I was damm lucky to have him write me a couple of times, I learned alot about Dean that way. I was one of the very few he wrote to. It only took 2 takes to re-recorded this. He was playing the guitar, and singing, and one other was playing one too. So you might think, that going through all of that, how much I love this song, and I do love it. I wish the people of other generations could here this, if they did, it would be awesome. Well, thanks again, for putting this up on u tube. Maybe others, who have not heard this will love it as much as us. En los comentarios que he leído observo el gran impacto que ha dejado en muchos esta canción de Dean Ford, recientemente fallecido. Nadie puede hallar palabras para explicarlo. Y es cierto. Quien escucha esta canción de The Marmslade, de la década de los sesenta, siente una extraña sensación en su corazón. Nada que se pueda explicar en palabras. He visto análisis del desarrollo del tema musical, pero es inútil. La sensación que nos provoca es una mezcla de sentimientos. Nostalgia de un mundo no vivido?. Un Revival de cosas que están dentro nuestro. ?. Un dejá vu?. Solo se que Dean Ford debe haber estado muy inspirado al componerla. No es la mejor ni la peor canción de los dorados años sesenta. Es única, indescriptible!.
