Hello Jake I love your videos. Im a US citizen and I've been traveling for the past 2 years or so and I've visited many countries along the way and it made me realize that there is way more to life than just staying in a bubble. As of recently I've been wanting to move to Latin America mainly to save money and get a better quality of living and to also obtain a passport. So far ive had Pereira, Colombia and Brazil in mind. It would be great if we could get in touch so I can actually have a conversation with someone who's had the experience of living in different countries. Keep up the great work 🙏🏻

I'm Brazilian. While researching tourism in Brazil, I discovered through KZbin videos that in the south of Brazil Garopaba (Silveira Beach - "Praia do Silveira") has one of the best beaches in the world for surfing. Imbituba also has a good beach for surfing - Rosa Beach - "Praia do Rosa". One of the videos I watched about Saquarema (115 km from Rio de Janeiro) says it's the Brazilian capital of surfing. Searching online for the best beaches for surfing in Brazil, the article said (note: praia = beach): Cacimba do Padre, Fernando de Noronha - PE Maresias, São Sebastião - SP Praia de Itaúna, Saquarema - RJ Praia Brava, Matinhos - PR Praia da Joaquina, Florianópolis - RJ Itacoatira, Niterói - RJ Praia do Silveira, Garopaba - SC Maracaípe, Porto de Galinhas - PE Lopes Mendes, Ilha Grande - RJ Praia do Forte, Salvador - BA Praia do Rosa, Imbituba - SC Praia da Pipa, Tibau do Sul - RN Visiting the beaches of Brazil is more expensive from December to March due to the long school holidays and summer season (all over Brazil). From April onwards it's much cheaper. From May onwards it starts to cool down in southern Brazil - from Rio de Janeiro towards southern Brazil. From Rio de Janeiro towards the north of Brazil there is practically no cold season. Winter in Brazil occurs mainly in July and August, the coldest month is usually July and at this time Brazilians from the southern half of Brazil travel more to the mountains such as: Monte Verde (state of Minas Gerais) Ouro Preto/MG (historic city) Campos do Jordão (state of São Paulo) - known as the "Brazilian Switzerland" is the city with the highest altitude in Brazil - 1,639 m. Urubici and Bom Jardim da Serra (state of Santa Catarina) - the coldest region in Brazil in winter, sometimes it can even snow a little. Cambará do Sul (state of Rio Grande do Sul) - to visit the canyons of the region. Gramado/Canela/ Nova Petrópolis (state of Rio Grande do Sul) - to visit the cities of German culture Bento Gonçalves/RS and its wineries - to visit the region of Italian culture. Petrópolis/RJ (historic city) and Teresópolis/RJ Therefore, in the winter season these cities in the mountain regions are more expensive and the beaches in the south of Brazil are practically empty.

Started rambling to my audio app too just a couple months ago. I had some really big realizations while talking to it. It's like journaling but 10x faster.

Brazil is so big that if you travel through several regions that are far from each other, you may have the feeling that you have traveled to another country. The northern and west of the country has more influence from indigenous peoples, in the northeast region there is more influence from African descendants and in the states of the southern region (Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul) it has more influence from European descendants, in addition, the northern half is less developed and all this reflects in the behavior of Brazilians in each region. There is a lot of cultural difference between the regions of Brazil due to many different peoples and cultures interacting and influencing each other.

Dude! Thanks for sharing these thoughts. Deep stuff for YT, and what a pleasant surprise. Dostoevsky? En serio? Although. . .Are you sure Western Civ is really a thing? A coherent and distinctive cultural and social model? Are you sure? At any rate, thanks again, and greetings from Buenos Aires bor. Safe travels. . .

Hello Jake. I remember you mentioning that your Colombian visa was denied. I was wondering did you mention you had a KZbin channel on your visa application or is there anyway the visa immagation office learned you jad a KZbin channel. The reason i ask is because Medellin has been telling KZbin creators when they arrive in Medellin that they cannot enter Colombia and the send them home. I think Medellin is tired of negative videos on KZbin and passport bros

European civilisation was indeed the best, but since the Austrian Painter and long nose people affair it wasn't been itself...
