Reflx Lab Simple Flash vs Godox Lux Junior | First Impression Comparison

Interesting options Jason. For just family “stuff” I use the small flash that came with the X-T4 (EF-X8) and it’s ok in most cases, for more “serious stuff” I got the Godox V860-III for on camera and to use it off camera, I got the Godox Xpro[F] wireless trigger.

I think the EF-X8 is a great flash but only works on Fuji cameras. So I was looking for alternatives for when I use my other cameras.

@@jmtphotographymedia I only have Fuji cameras, two X-T4’s and my X100VI “imitation”, the X-T1 with the XF23 f/2🤣

@@jmtphotographymedia Quick question though: How is the brightest setting on the reflex lab vs the Godox? Do you think the Reflex Lab puts out enough light to use as fill flash during a bright sunny day?

@@roaddogmike I think with the brightest setting both will be fine if you're not too far way from the subject.

Both would fit but I think the Godox would be a better fit overall. The recycle time is better and since it has the same shape as the Fuji XT2 I mentioned you can access/remove with no problem.

Great video. Was looking at both of these flashes so your information was helpful. Did you try the gels with the Reflx flash or do you think it’s too much of a gimmick?

Thanks. I didn't try the gels but I wouldn't really use it with this caliber of flash unless I was just messing around.
