REFORGED BLITZ IS SO BAD 🤮 | WOTB - World of Tanks Blitz | What a DISAPPOINTMENT this is

The Reforged update might just be the worst thing to happen to Blitz ever, Changing so much so fast will not be welcomed by the community and will drive players away and I can’t see it encouraging new players.
WG are just gaslighting us with all these ridiculous sets, steel and commanders, they have already nerfed the commanders and will put them in military uniforms and then say well that’s what you guys ask us to do. When we never wanted them in the first place, the sets I’m guessing, they will revert to old tech tree saying we listened to you guys but then add sets in the shop for people to buy so if you want a gold tank you will have to buy a set, it’s all marketing BS and the majority of the player base will believe that they have had some effect on WG thinking

They make the same mistake as Jagex made with Runescape. They updated Runescape to Runescape 3 and lost 90% of their playerbase. They then got desperate and brought back Oldschool Runescape.

Beta tester here. Veteran with 9 years of playing, almost 3000hours on this game and over 50.000 matches. The new update its gonna be the nail in the coffin, mark my words! All of the veteran players wil stop playing this shit "blitz". How in the God's name they though to bring all this upon a game with very good performance, tons of player base, dedicated ones, intuitive Ui, etc abd change all of this with...THIS? They will pay pretty soon for this decision with their OWN money. Over 75% of playerbase will quit playign this game in the first week.

At first I thought that the reforged update looked great and had some huge potential (and sure, I acknowledged since the beginning that some things might need tweaking) but the more time has gone on - and the more info is revealed - has highlighted to me that I was wrong. This whole reforged catastrophe really underscores the importance of communication between a dev team and the playerbase. We were quite frankly left in the dark for years about this update. There are about 1 billion things I can say about Wargaming - but at this point - I don't care about putting the time and effort into saying it - much like they don't put the time and effort into us. Time to move on.

This new " upgrade " ,, is a DOWNGRADE .... play mechanics is worse ,, matchmaking is worse ,, the 7-0 blowout loses are increasing ,, the number of " random ghost shells " per game has increased ... I have already noticed an increase in shots that NEVER even hint at damage ... NOW ,, you could see anywhere from 2 to 6 ghost shells per game ... horribly ,, pathetically ,, worse !!!

I don’t understand how the people that created such a great game can be so out of touch. Just introduce the game as new and leave the old blitz alone, if the new game is so great players will migrate to it. The new game is overly complicated, I predict that WG will lose their behind on this. I’ve always felt that WG didn’t care for their players at all and this proves it.

Wholly agree. This is waaay too involved. The control should revolve around useability to make it easy to actually get into a game. This is so complex you need a masters degree to navigate the site. This is a disaster.

Yes, it seems they created a whole new game. Sets, commanders, new currencies, much confusion, not sure who thought this was going to be a good idea, but they are wrong. Some kickass new maps for the unreal engine, a 3-mark system, which the community have been asking for for ages, would have been great to introduce with the unreal engine, but what they are doing is baffling me!

I'm on the test server. All i can say is it's very confusing, & a lot of different currencies, the tech trees are much easier to navigate than the crazy sets, then there is level ups, for tank sets & for the low iq rainbow commanders, i think after a few weeks il have it figured out, but other than the nice graphics, the update is awful cringe & it just feels forced & its just not blitz.

Imagine a Halo II game that forced you to buy cameo, players, bullets, armour and guns. The game would have failed. Now image the outcome of Blitz because its forces you to buy players, 30 day subscriptions, guns and bullets, and tanks... The player base is going to be scaled back.

Go to Settings->Game->Armor Highlight and change it from Default to Classic, highlights the impenetrable bits as red like in good old blitz.

First, I entered the test. I was disappointed before I opened the game. There were many errors and difficulty browsing the menus. Their removal of the tech tree was very frustrating. I do not know where they are heading. The company is destroying their own game. If these changes happen, I will definitely not play this game again.

I played a few battles in the new version, and I can honestly say I'm not impressed. The graphics aren't as good as I expected. The gameplay is a bit sluggish and almost requires a learning curve to retrain yourself. It is really difficult to try to aim and shoot at weak points, and it's very difficult to see what the weak points are. I'll send some clips to you if ya want. I think I'll be posting my own critique as well. But, I want to play a bit first.

Brain rot has already destroyed the player base with camping e100 snipers and front line tvps you almost can’t communicate because anything to call out an area. We’ll just get you ostracized and call the noob…. Today in realistic mode, I had a game where I did 5000 damage the rest of my team barely took one shot. Most of them bounced that one shot. I had three zeros on my team in realistic mode…. they all yelled at me and called me noob I almost single-handedly won the match and they all called me new I’ve been playing the game for almost a decade and for me to do 5000 damage against six enemy tanks is pretty damn good in my opinion I stood my ground the best I could I knew I didn’t have a chance because my team evaporated in less than two minutes. The game is just shot altogether just like the brain rot of the players, the developers are just as bad.

Graphisms are not that good, and physics are way worse. Everything is more cartoonish. The game is not optimised yet at all. Very laggy. Why we are testing a version that is not optimised at all.

I have no time for playing this with all these complicated settings, are they purposly trying to kill off the game, I have all the tanks all the crew skills, they are making it easier for new players as Andrey Ryabovol mentions in the WG Reforged Update, he mentions the new players do not undersatnd the game mechanics, we have evolved and years of grinding the lines to get where we are now, this is a huge backwards step, UE5 cam make the grafix better but not the garage sets etc, ff I think ill go play tetris or something.

WG is making it like WOT PC, the PC version is complicated and now they're making it to WOTB! I played the PC version first and I change to WOTB because it's less complicated. WTF WG, I was sent the invite for the test and I download for Steam and the game does even load! I have a black screen for over 100 mins. thinking it may finally load, but it didn't. During my military time I learned that "Piss Poor Planning leads to Piss Poor Performance!" Good job WG (NOT)!

As an older player, one who has spent 1000's of hours, many years playing, grinding through the game, promoting here on YT like yourself and many others, this 'upgrade'? is nothing more than a total clusterfuck. As I mentioned on another sub;d channel, we asked for better graphics, better maps sizes and design etc,,, NOT this shit show... WG have made a huge error in judgement of the player base that MADE their game what it is now, it won't be the same player base that sees this change last. I have access to the test server, but as of yet, have not opened it, I waited to see and check what others reactions were going to be. I said before in a post 'Time will tell' well I think seeing what I've seen so far, hearing what others are saying, has made the decisions required a little bit easier to swallow. Like an addict of whatever fancy has the hold on them, drink, drugs, smokes whatever,,,a three month cooling off period might just be the road to freedom. If WG take to heart what the community is saying after these test stages, and alter what is not appreciated, then maybe, maybe it will be suffice to remain, otherwise, it could be the road to another time consuming moment for more than they realise.

Well, I like the game! I have been playing wot blitz for 7 years now. The changes are not bad, with the testing new game I am already aware how to play, set up, etc. I think content creators are going way too far. Changes can be overwhelming at first, but you get use to it. I am an engineer and I have to say there are some bugs but the game will get better within 1 year.

I go back to my first days in blitz, and it all felt hopelessly complicated then. Likely this new game will get familiar with time I'm on the test now. After 30 minutes I figured out how to swap my crew xp for Commander books and upgrade 'Duncan'. My wz121 neon camo seems to have got lost and they have added a random one. My first game was dead rail. Graphics look a bit nicer, but moving cable car is a bit distracting when you're alert for movement. The contours look way flatter, resulting in me getting slapped hard when I thought I was hull down. The drive seemed a bit jerky, and more sluggish than I'm used to (mind you old blitz had been really unresponsive today too). Too soon to say I don't like it, but I don't like feeling like a noob again. I echo your sentiment that it's overwhelming (probably for anyone)
