Twitter/X , Starlink , Space X are based overseas and pay almost no tax in the UK. Tesla Motors Ltd sold almost 50k cars in the UK in 2024 . Revenue £2.8 billion , Automotive sales £1.97 billion , gross profit £220 million , operating profit £40 million , profit before taxation £32m. The VAT paid on £2 billion in car sales is £400m. Of course Elon does not own all of Tesla and he should not get personal credit for VAT on purchases made by the UK public. Right wing lunatics often confuse company and personal taxation and think it is them personally paying any tax that ends up in the exchequers hands. The energy generation and storage revenue is currently £336m but expect that to grow in the coming years as the UK moves towards net zero and expenditure on solar panels and battery storage increases.

I’d be interested to know how many reform members would welcome Robinson into the party. In light of very recent events and the praise being heaped on Nigel for saying he wouldn’t welcome Robinson, the number might be lower than it would have been but a poll taken a week earlier could be uncomfortable reading for the party.
