And, pray tell, how did you learn about his precious blood spilt? That's right, his faithful church forever proclaiming His Gospel.

@@RevDanNC as the church, the body of the Saviour Jesus Christ, proclaim the gospel, but by whom the gospel is fulfilled? it is through the blood of Jesus. (Romans 5:9 KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

"Through the church" modifies the line that comes before it. In other words, "May God be glorified through the church". "He redeemed and made his own" describes the church. It doesn't explain *how we are redeemed. At least I think I'm right. :)

To Wigmore, I think that you're misunderstanding something. It doesn't say that we're redeemed through the church. It says that He redeemed (us) the church & made us His own. In other words God is glorified through the church which He redeemed. He is glorified through those that are His. Ann Barker, you hit the nail on the head, you are right.
