I always wait until the feel super light..like how fresh chalk comes. Mine don't get harder if I let them sit. They stay the same. If anything they get more powdery.

5 days in the mold or plastic box and 1 week out of the mold or plastic in the air OUT OF CONTAINER

For me it take 2 or 3 days in the mold and about 5 out of it. Just depends on how much water you use and how big or small your project is. I usually wait until it feels light weight like when gym chalk is fresh

Hey there, I've been stuck on the quickest way to dry my reformed gym chalk. Hubby doesn't want me to dry it in the oven and it takes forever to air dry (if dried inside), is there a certain dehydrator you recommend? Depends on size, smaller ones maybe 12 hours, bigger ones, 24 hours or more. I just go by weight. If it feels dry or very light, it's good.

I do it until they are able to come out of the mold and then I take them out and put them back in until they feel light in weight.

You can try microwave I did BUT keep it on only 1-1 & 1/2 minutes of that will explode & use paper - I was making those little Dixie cup molds so I could use microwave but don’t know about anything bigger …

You can do either one. When I do more water it makes it softer and when I use less water it makes it harder.

No, you don't have to have one. I used to just air dry or use a box fan. The dehydrator just speeds up the drying process.

I personally don't care if the reforms are sifted or not. They crumble the same. It makes no difference in texture or anything. Sifting is nice for video content. Otherwise it's extra work for no reason.

You just let it sit out in a warm place to dry, you can use a fan to speed up the process or a dehydrator.

@@muhammadshayan6601 after you mix it and put it into a mold you let it sit to dry. It will start to shrink and then you can usually take them out and let them dry some more. When they feel like they are light weight, they should be ready to crumble.
