🚨 NEWS from Refoss: a firmware update has been released that enables Home Assistant functionalities 🚨

Finally. I was looking for that

Is this a good product with home assistant? As in the accuracy and the data polling is up to par with products like shelly?

Actually I strongly recommend to avoid those. I bought 4 of them, having installed by qualified professional under my supervision (CT direction and wiring for each phase/voltage correlation). I get incoherent data, showing negative values on some phases that doesn't make any sense. The weird thing is that I see correct current data, but power is calculated as negative due to a "PF" (power factor) with negative value (in my case -0,87). If I try to reverse the CT, the value get positive but with very wrong value due to PF going to 0,20 !! I tried contacting REFOSS who doesn't reply emails or contact forms. Now I have to returns those useless devices after I spent money for the installation. -edit : solved due to incorrect wiring from professional AND ct probe reversed (on some you need to follow the arrow direction and on some others you need to reverse!)

Wow! Sorry to hear about your bad experience. Mine seems to be working perfectly on single phase, so can't comment or advise about other scenarios, sadly.

@AlessandroCaporale how did you fix the problem?
@kactycbbulbash33443 ай бұрын
Does it keep a voltage (Current) history in the app? At least for some time? Or only consumption?
@UltimateDIY3 ай бұрын
As far as I can see, only consumption.

@@UltimateDIY was hoping to debug my solar problems. Do you know a product which keeps some Voltage history and also does the consumption?
@UltimateDIY3 ай бұрын
Sorry, but I don't know any.

Just installed all 6 current probes, with direction of energy K->L. But, as other comment stated, the wattage is completely random. I cant tell anything from those values. Voltage is positive 234V, current positive 0,63A, wattage -136. I made sure I had "voltage lines" on the same phase as the current probes. This is annoying.
@UltimateDIY4 ай бұрын
Where you have a negative reading rotate the probe and all will be solved.
@AddiAtze4 ай бұрын
@@UltimateDIY that is logical. What bothers me is, why print directions on the Probe if they are wrong?
@AddiAtze4 ай бұрын
Or why not give the Option to change sign in the Software?
@UltimateDIY4 ай бұрын
That is beyond me 🤷🏻♂️

Can someone tell me what's the sampling rate for this units ? I need it to be much less than 15 min. I would like to use it to inform me when the 15 min power will exceed some value, so I need to do aggrregates using higher granularity. Anyone ? I can't find this data anywhere...

Send an email to the manufacturer and they should be able to provide this info.

Regarding your question about the polling interval or update frequency of the EM06 device, the data acquisition frequency for this device is 4 seconds. The refresh interval in our app is approximately 3-18 seconds, with the fastest refresh being every 3 seconds. If you are experiencing a refresh time of 20 seconds in the app, it may be due to a request timeout, as the app's request timeout is set to 15 seconds.
