Refraction - Science experiment

www.fizik.si Refraction occurs when light waves travel from a medium with a given refractive index to a medium with another at an angle. At the boundary between the media, the wave's phase velocity is altered, usually causing a change in direction.

Very Cool ! The Angle at which you start the video really reminded me of the suns refraction during a sunrise and sunset relative to your horizon! Since light in space travel through a vacuum, when light hits our dense atmosphere It also refracts! The angle in the beginning of the video is a perfect example if you think if the laser as the stream of photons from the sun, The surface of the water as the atmosphere of the earth and the end point of the laser within the water is YOU watching a refracted sunset !

Very nice. Proof of the light bending towards the normal line of the interface between two media of different refractive indices. Angle of refraction with normal line in higher density media is always going to be less than in lower density media.
