Only just found your channel, loving your video/editing style Austin, nice work mate! Currently doing my CPL H in Tassie, only 12 hrs in. Apart from my amazing wife and kids, it’s the best life decision I’ve ever made. In regards to your GoPro and Osmos cameras, are you going to continue to run both? What basic starter setup would you recommend for filming flight training? To be able to watch back and listen to my lessons and review the mistakes and instructor advice would be invaluable. Thank you Tim! I actually made a video about my GoPro setup about 2 years ago that talks about how I set it up and what cables I use, that is a great place to start. Really you don’t need the reward facing cam, I just like to have that for youtube. A forward facing GoPro and the audio recording cable would work just fine for training! I’ve got a video I’m currently working on that walks through my latest GoPro set up. It’s pretty complicated and definitely overkill for just training purposes! Hoping to have it up in the next 2 weeks though!

When you don’t over stuff it, yes. When it’s absolutely packed with heavy gear, it’s not the most comfortable. If you don’t put a laptop in the laptop sleeve it’s pretty comfortable!

Where do you put the camera bodies? That bag was packed. That configuration wouldn’t work with the lenses attached.

At 3:10 I point out where they go. One faces up and one faces down. I store them with those 2 lenses in the bag attached. A7Siii with the 16-35 (for vlogging) and the a7riii with the 24-70 (for photos).

@@AustinClaborn I got that in the video it just looks like it wouldn’t fit with the bodies attached. Would be awesome if you posted a pic of it packed out with the cameras with lenses. I own 20 plus camera bags and they all false advertise their capabilities. Most of them only fit laying down cause they’re not deep enough and most bags require the bodies to be detached. Great kit though 👍🏻. Thanks for the response.
