REFRESH YOUR MIND BODY SOUL (healing meditation music 9 minutes)

Find your way back to your Zen place again. Life can be chaos, and often we need to push that chaos away and refresh our souls, our minds and our bodies. This is your way to that place of peace and healing that we all need. This quick nine-minute meditation music can change everything.
Stress is very detrimental to your health, and in this age we find ourselves living, that “fight or flight switch” is on more often than it is off. It brings to mind a book by Robert M. Sapolsky titled "Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers." The jest of the book is when a zebra is grazing in the Serengeti Plain, mellow, enjoying the day, then it gets a whiff of, or sees or hears, a lion/pride, approaching, and the fight or flight kicks in, causing a neurochemical reaction in the body, dumping hormones into the system, and shutting down the digestive system, the immune system, and many other normal aspects of the body’s functions for health and wellbeing. This physiological reaction occurs in response to a perceived harmful event, attack, or threat to its survival. It then reacts to the threat with a general discharge of the sympathetic nervous system, priming it for fighting or fleeing. It is a totally natural and necessary reaction… in the natural world. More specifically, the adrenal medulla produces a hormonal cascade that results in the secretion of catecholamines, especially norepinephrine and epinephrine. The zebra runs to escape the threat, and when the danger has passed, it slows, then stops, looks around, finds the threat no longer exists and starts to graze again. Everything in the body returns to the relaxed state, the digestive system, immune system, etc., and life carries on.
Us, not so simple. In many cases, we live in a constant state of anxiety, stress, hormones spewing, neurochemicals raging, due to the chaos of life; traffic, noise, crowds, media, etc., etc., etc.. It is not so simple for us to return to that calm state/place as it was for so many millennia through our evolution, because the stimuli are always there.
But with meditation and the right space and sounds, we can indeed find that place again. And of course the healing can then begin again as the stress and anxiety dissipates from our lives.
That is what you will find in much of my music, tools to turn that fight or flight switch off. It is however important that you do this often, because it will constantly try to seep back into our lives because of the sometimes crazy world we find ourselves living in.
Return to your Zen again!
