Featherweight 221K with the original Singer bobby case a blessed plus! I had converted one to handcrank using a 20cm ultralight aluminum lathing wheel. 221K, 222K and 201K are well-made engineering marvels.

Just ordered 6x40 tap. Do you know the size of tap for the needle plate screws. Awesome video. Thanks Mike

Hi Mike. Glad you enjoyed the video. Singers have quite a few 6x40 holes, so that tap will come in handy. The needle plate screws are 8x40. I don't have that tap, but I just confirmed the pitch with a thread gauge and one of those needle plate screws. The needle plate threaded holes are usually in good shape, as they always have screws in them. The threaded holes in the bed for attaching accessories are almost always full of gunk, because they are almost always open.
