Refreshing Hot Springs National Park

Hot Springs National Park is the smallest, most urban national park. Located in Arkansas, it has more hot tubs here than any other national park. No visit here is complete without a good soak in Hot Springs' waters. It's a mecca for relaxation.

Great place to visit in the fall or Spring. Brutally hot in the Summer, so avoid June to August.

Ok, I've watched a few videos about Hot Springs and, from what I've seen, the only way to soak in the hot springs is in the bathhouses? I wanted to soak in the ones that are outside. I suppose this isn't allowed.

I believe there are some smaller ones scattered around the town that you can go into. They also have a small waterfall that you can bathe in. You just have to know where to look. I believe Eureka Springs has some like this too but it's cooler water.

Why can't the public use high school tracks to run and walk on? This is the only state in the union that locks up public facilities and the people just go along with it

Because there are many trails, fields, 1 track, for running, hiking, bicycling, swimming, kayaking, climbing etc all over. It's an outdoorsmans dream. Don't need a high school field to do that. It just brings more drugs onto school properties. Yes, nowadays needles, meth, drugs are an issue. It's usually out of sight but if you pay close attention, you can see it. Some cities like Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago, NYC, Ashville, Miami just do it in the open now. I think Portland just legalized small portions of methamphetamines! Yes you heard that right.

Nah fr hot springs and Little Rock are the two worst cities in Arkansas hot springs has just as much crime lol
