I think he'll be torn on whether to take it back. He didn't expect to get it back and wanted it's parts to live on saving other builds but he might be stoked at how far it has come. It is a running driving car again and so many people wish they could have their baby back. I would be torn too. Either way, I'd cry at the effort put into it and even the thoughtfulness of you giving it back.

I am sure the adjustment screw was all the way because the plugs were bad, trying to adjust a valve that is not or intermittently connected. Doing great, as usual! Hard to say but I don't think he will take it back. I think he will want to drive it for sure, think about it but not accept it back. If he is like me he would want it to end up with a younger guy that might have it forever. I wish I could find out if the guy who sold me my supra cheap still has his nicer one, see that his old supra is nicer than when he sold it 22 years ago!

So for the info on That Supra,A guy named Kevin from Eastern Passage owned it. He had it from 2007ish until 2015ish. ( I could be off on the years) It burnt on Cole Harbour road. Sat at Academy Towing in Burnside for a minute. I would assume it sold at auction and that is where my knowledge ends.

We have a local shop that has been in business for 50 years, they rebuild starters and alternators. Id rather have an OEM unit rebuilt than put in some garbage aftermarket joint.

@strategicthinker8899 If that's how you feel I'm sure you could fund a few of the repairs. Mike has for sure put a good bit of money into the car from the jump. He has plans to fix it more if you would listen he has plans to replace the hatch and the T-tops and wants to get patch panels for the rockers. KZbin only pays so much and I'm pretty sure its one check a month so he has to do things in stages plus its something he wants to give back. So if he don't go all out like he would for his personal cars what's the issue he is doing something super cool even if the car lasts another 5 years that's more time for the Original owner to enjoy it.
