Hoping that you look into a career in appliance repair. A lot of those types of jobs pay very well. Note: I believe that the cover panel plays a big role in the cooling process. Probably best to at least place it back in position during your cooling checks. Best wishes.

Hey, your lesson was amazing! I enjoyed the whole lesson. Thank you.💓🙏 By the way, how did you remove the plastic panels over the evaporator fan? Because they didin't have any nails!!. Wouldn't it break if you use a flat screw-driver to loosen the edges around the panel. And how do you know where to apply pressure to remove it gently. I really don't know how you did it. (My fridge has either the evaporator fan not working or the thermostat harness issue or somehing. And I'm going to see what's the issue is. But I'm afraid of removing the panels thinking that they would break. I don't have a multimetre. (My fridge model: GL-M253MV, dual door (door cooling technology) a bit old, maybe 8-10 years old. Hope you will reply. Best regards.

These units are defective the computer often fails to detect ice build up and doesnt defrost as often as needed. Sometimes it wilk freze up above the sensor and and the computer wont detect it. Also most all of the compressors will fail.

We discovered that our problem with a warm fridge (the freezer section was ok) resulted from the rotating part of the motor for the evaporator fan getting a bit gunked up (after 22 years spinning within an electric field) such that sometimes the fan/motor did not start to spin (to push cooled air down into the fridge), but the fan/motor would spin if given a slight push to get it started. Sometimes it started okay on its own when the compressor started but sometimes it didn't. When the power was off, the fan/motor could be manually spun a bit, but did not spin freely. I removed the evaporator fan/motor (as per a video at kzbin.info/www/bejne/j4q5dpSKf9OCrqM) and cleaned the rotating motor component with special electrical-contact-cleaner spray to remove a black residue coating where the motor spins, until the fan/motor would manually spin freely, then reassembled. One caution is when I was putting back in one of the screws holding the motor assembly in place, I pressed a bit too hard and cracked the plastic housing, but repaired that with crazy glue.

Good job young man.. suggestion though, make this a 5min or less video.. too long for somebody who just wanted to get their ref fixed... just focus on the actual repair.. when you do something, say what you are doing at the same time.. rather than say and then do.. :) keep it up...
