I use the Molten Dolfin B (as a Basketball red) now and I love it. I used the Fox 40 for Some years, but I prefer the Molten because of having a sharper sound and being louder. + when there are multiple games at the same time my sound is unique so the players will only stop playing on my whistle

The standard "everyone uses" for USA football is the fox40. I officiate college football at a high level and fox pretty much gives everything needed, even lariats. Lol. But someone gave me a dolfin about 5 yrs ago. Same loud shrill to cut through the noise BUT the chambers face away from me. Hence the noice faces away from my ears for 3.5 hours. The knock I have/had with dolfin was no cushioned mouth guard.

What Fox 40? Fox 40 is a brand. Not a model.

unbelievable sound!! even when compared with the Molten Valkeen.. wow!!! iv had the pleasure to hear the Titan in person, to any professional, i highly recommend. its a sound like no other, had to lift my mouth from the floor when i first heard it. thanks for the comparison!!!

This is the reason why my primary whistle is my Molten Dolfin B and my secondary whistle is my Fox 40 CMG. Whether for basketball coaching, scouting, emergency response, or implementing school discipline. Both of my whistles never let me down. I've been using both of them for about 5 years now.

It is always a matter of personal choice. I personally use the Valkeen, the sound it creates is very unique.
