Early on, I was of the opinion that Mr. Michael Reynolds was several years ahead of his time. As more time has passed, I then conceded that he was perhaps decades ahead of his time. I am presently (after studying him and his work for more than 50 years) of the firm belief that Michael is at the very least 1 to 2 centuries beyond his contemporaries. Brilliance personified. Well done Sir. You never cease to amaze me.

Having studied myself and having toured many of the homes in Taos, I am in agreement that he is at minimum several decades ahead. If all buildings and all hones in particular were built similar to earthships, I believe that we could eliminate the energy crisis that most countries are having.

It’s special feeling having been a part of the build. Cheers to all of the earthship staff, interns, and academy students!

I love it! I want one... My family and I are moving to northern New Mexico this summer, and this is the home for us. It's beautiful on so many levels. Thank you Michael & Team for all you are doing and for all you are putting up with to keep perfecting these wonderful shelters. We are so blessed to be living in your generation. Wopila, ~Tim

Loved the entire project! Except, Sorry, I'm as old as Michael and had to slow down the playback speed to .25 in order to see what it really looked like!

Our dream/retirement plan is to build one on the Maine/Canada border. Can't wait to get down to Taos to take the class!!!

It would be great to have someone explain in another video, the updates that have been included in this build and the rationale behind those decisions. Why vertical windows instead of slanted, white greenhouse instead of darker, heat absorbing colors, etc.
@RavenCro-g8t9 ай бұрын
It's all explained in the books and other videos. Well worth the time and money to read & watch.

Construction costs are cheaper. Easier to put blinds on, in winter climates snow doesn’t build up on them. At times they may let in too much heat.

In regards to the slanted windows..

Please make a clip without the super fast paced and annoying camera movement. Who do you want your audience to be? A 15 year old tiktok addict with an attention span of a fish?

I was really immersed in the fish POV with that lens too

So awesome! The bottle walls are stunning, and the indoor garden is phenomenal… If it works as good as it looks… You’re literally living in a Utopian flow… I love it too much😁♾💎✨🫶.
