Lol, it’s always fun breaking glass… I’ve done it on purpose a few times for plumbing purposes. My stress levels could not be higher hahah. But I love the idea of a breeding discus factory! I’m down for it!

Just got to say that it's seriously a great idea to acquire a few more razor blade tools and the one i use the most is made for detailing car interior glass . It definitely makes it safer since the handle is long with a little bit of an angle .

Try brick acid it does the job, just be careful with it, use gloves etc and a mask and don’t get it on the silicone, it takes the water marks of easy

We have usually cut a aquarium down with thin wire. It cuts the silicon very easy. Fishing line works to but will keep breaking. Though your probably done it now 👍

And your music shop will sell you the thin wire. They call it a guitar string.

I recently got a few tanks and used malt vinegar and a razor blade to get rid of the water stains, be careful with the blade though! Nobody likes a tank with scratches in the glass! 😂 Good luck!
