We use the optrex actimist with our lad, he won’t let you put drops in it really works, heads up the irritated eyes one is exactly the same ingredients and is usually slightly cheaper

I know his behaviors are always going to be on the extreme side and have much more serious outcomes but...it is pretty typical for a 13 year old to try to fake sick to get out of school. It's definitely not an attractive behavior, but in my opinion anything "typical" and age appropriate is kinda good. Hope that made sense.😉

Does Andy have pink eye or is it just irritation from the hay fever? It really looks like conjunctivitis when you showed a close up of his left eye. Great parenting by not bringing him home today. I think that will make a big difference. I hope he feels back to his normal self soon.

I totally get how Andy feels with hay fever I am suffering real bad with it this year year and it sucks. I know it’s a long shot but would he let you give him a nasal spray. Prevalin allergy kids is ok to use for him it’s for 6 years plus

hi there i have a question but i do wonder if it would be too personal or something you woulnt want to include on the channel and that is fine , but i wondered how you handle puberty - the changes that happen to people during pre teens/teens , like mood swings sleeping more etc and obviously other changes and explaining those to andy , i totally understand if thats something you you wish not to include for certain reasons but i also know that would be slightly / or alot more difficult with autism and other disorders, my friend a very close one at that said how difficult it was to go through puberty when she was in her teens (obviously being a girl there were very obvious changes involved) - she knows i have mentioned it and also watches your channel often. i hope this s ok to ask and bring up but feel free to remove the comment if its been asked or mentioned or if its too deep/personal . somthing you wish not to talk about - i love your channel and your vlogs and watch them often and i feel it gives a great insight into living with autism from everyones veiw i also really love the through andys eyes channel it was an excellent idea and its lovley to see any happy and interested in it

We have noticed with our son that we have been doing hormone surges. These last for about a week at a time and seem to be every 2 weeks again but has tapered off to every 3 week. We asked our occupational therapies about different pressure technics we could use to help. We also watched his diet. Seems sugar made the weeks worse. Our main thing is we pick our battles to see if it's worth fighting the slight change and if it is we just have to be more stubborn then he is. He does have a safe place (his bed) we ask him to go to when he's really just fight and he can hit and kick his mattress as much as he wants. We just calmly tell him when he's done we can talk. But that's what works for us and everyone is different. My son's medication takes away a lot of the others "urges" so we aren't dealing with a lot of that.
