Jazaakallah yaa Shaykh! I am saddened by any claims that one can invoke our Nabi (SAW) to seek help in this world. This is senseless and against our deen. Do those who say this not read or understand the very ayaat we recite multiple times in our salaah? “thee alone do we worship and thee ALONE do we ask for help”? Why would I need to ask anyone, apart from Allah, if I need to find someone I’ve lost in Madinah?! I wish that there was a better, less harsh way that one could address this ignorance. May Allah guide us all. Your school friend (had the best times 🎉at Islamia - those were the days)
